Farces and Fun

Gas & Light Productions was formed in the spring of 1998 in Calgary and mounted their first production that fall. We are excited to be celebrating our eleventh year.

G & S believes in the importance of cultivating new talent in acting and stage craft. Every show has a mix of new and experienced people who embody community spirit. The Company also is committed to having a great time and being part of the fun of theatre.

After ten years of farces, comedies, and a bit of drama for good measure, we were laughing again with An Absolute Turkey in the fall of 2008. We would like to thank everyone who came. Check the show page for some pictures from the show.

2009 Season

I was irrevocably betrothed to laughter, the sound of which has always
seemed to me to be the most civilized music in the world.
